Lula's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Lula's Story...
Meet Lula. She was a stray in North Memphis. She will go to Gentle Care Animal Hospital Monday for a bath, shots, and wound check (she has a neck wound.) She is scared of people right now, but she won't be for long under our care! She is very afraid of people. She has a deep puncture wound and slice on her neck. It seems she was abused severely. She jumps back and cowers when we go to pet her. She completed treatment for wringworm and is UTD on shots, microchipped, and spayed. She now lets us pet her! She will be ready for adoption by April. I want her to go to an adopter who has at least one dog that does not mind being licked quite a lot by Lula.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lula, a Bartlett Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Bartlett, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Bartlett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartlett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartlett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartlett paves the way for another one to be saved.
