My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stormy.  Stormy is a 14 - 18 months old female Border Collie / Australian Cattle Dog mix.  Her coloring is slate merle and white with heavy mottling.  Stormy came from a high kill shelter in AZ, and was rescued by a fellow cat rescuer who contact BCIN. 
 
Stormy really enjoys the company of other dogs and probably would be happiest being adopted in a multi dog household.  She lived with a smaller dog while in foster care, so we know that she is OK with smaller dogs.  However, she has quite the prey drive and should not be placed into a home with cats.  Stormy has a gregarious temperament and loves people.  She is biddable and wants to please you.  Stormy is housebroken and has good house manners.  Since she is still a youngster, she is still chewing, so she will need lots of proper chew toys.  She enjoys playing ball.  Her energy level is above average and she will require consistent daily exercise, more than just the average walk around the block.  She is also smart as a whip and learns very quickly. 
 
All in all, Stormy is a delightful dog with such a happy-go-lucky personality.  She will brighten your day, and she has so much love to give.  All in all, Stormy is a nice dog.
