Lexi Boo's Story...
This poor sweetie had a terrible life! For most of her 2 years she was locked in a cage. She was bred everytime she was in heat. She never saw a vet, and was never even given a name! And then she was placed on a site to be given away free. They called her Boo, so that is the name on her medical paperwork, but her foster mom calls her Lexi, and she responds to it much better. That's how she got the name Lexi Boo. She had heartworm when she came to us, and endured the long painful treatment, so now she is healthy and ready for her forever home!

Lexi Boo is a very smart and sweet dog. She is house trained, and rings a bell at the door to go out. She knows sit and lay down commands. She is good with other dogs and kids, and seems to be fine with cats, too.

Lexi Boo is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, treated with dewormer and flea and heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi Boo, a Flushing Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
