AGGIE's Story...
Aggie is a sweet 1.5 year old, 60 pound girl. This beauty stays well behaved in her run and knows sit and stay. Aggie is strong on the leash so her adopter will have to be aware of that. There are several helpful harnesses that can manage pulling and help you be in control. Of course a fenced in yard would be great for Aggie but it's not a requirement. She looks so sweet and huggable! Aggie came to the shelter on Feb. 22nd and is currently available for adoption. She is up to date with shots, has been spayed, heartworm tested negative, and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Aggie is in Run 830 and her ID is 592187.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AGGIE, a Marietta American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Marietta, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
