Additional info: This sweet girl was abandoned at the shelter by her owner. She was listed for euthanasia but we managed to get to her in time. Her owner reported her as being friendly with other dogs, kids, and cats. Cali is very scared and shy. Although she may be good with kids, we are not recommending her for a home with young kids right now because she is a little nippy. She should settle down and become more confident over time. She is very sweet and good on walks and loves to snuggle. She is easy to care for and quiet. At the moment she needs a calm and quiet household. She had a golfball size mass in her mouth which we just had surgically removed. Part of the mass was attached to the bone but it is localized, will not grow and will not shorten her like. Cali is on the mend and looking for her forever home.
