Additional info: Bonita was rescued from a hoarding situation with about 20 other dogs, including her sister, Lola who is also with us. Understandably, she was initially fearful and under socialized. She has now completely blossomed and is very outgoing and loving. She even gets along with the other dog in her foster home. Once Bonita gets used to you she will bond with you and become your own personal lap dog. She is cuddly and playful one on one. On her walks, though, she may shut down when she encounters other people. She likes other dogs and gets along well with them. (She doesn't like to go potty yet in front of someone!). She needs a quiet, patient person who will help socialize her. She seems to prefer women.
