My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Joey.

I am a 2 year old male Schnauzer kid, in search of my forever family. I am silver and white and weigh 17 lbs.

I haven't known what a family is like in my short 2 years, because I have been always used for breeding. I have spent my entire life in an indoor/outdoor run, with very little socialization. My previous owner, was looking to get out of the business, so she placed an add on Facebook and Schnauzer Rescue replied.

Thank goodness they did!

The new things I'm experiencing are so exciting. I am now living in a foster home, with a couple other schnauzer kids and a cat.

When I tell we play all day, that is an understatement. I have never had so many toys, good food, treats, and cozy beds in my life.

I'm still unsure of those human people. I shake my tail and get so excited when they speak to me, but I still am not so trusting of them.

The leash was also a big adjustment for me, and we are still working on that. House breaking is coming along, but I still have some accidents from time to time. It gets a little confusing, as before I could potty where ever I wanted to. I am a very smart boy and have learned so many things in just a short time.

I have a lot to offer a new family, as I am now up to date on all my shots, neutered, micro-chipped, and crate trained.

If you think you are the right family for me, please fill out the application for Joey.
