Manny's Story...
Manny is a new arrival at UFHA. He's a Senior cat and he's on a special kidney diet, but don't let that deter you. He's a big, solid sweetheart that has lots of love to give.

Our cats are up-to-date on shots. They've been given flea and worm treatments. They've tested negative for leukemia and distemper. We spay or neuter all of our animals.

UFHA adoption fee is $50.00 for kittens (baby or young) and $25.00 for adult cats. There is no fee for our senior cats. You can obtain a copy of our adoption application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Manny, a Richand Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Richand, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Richand.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richand already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richand breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richand paves the way for another one to be saved.
