My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I could hear the nice woman; but I could not see her, I could not lift my head, nor my body, I was so weak. As I laid on the woman’s lap, I could hear her say; “Hold on little buddy, we’re almost there”. As we entered the room, I felt many kind hands on me and heard many voices around me. There were many Angels working hard handpicking the crawling critters one by one, off my body. These critters had sucked the life out of me; I was barely alive. The doctor spoke to the woman who brought me in and said that I needed a blood transfusion to save my life. As I laid there in the arms of one of the lovely staff members, I could feel the warm liquid slowly enter my body; the kind person held my 3-pound fragile body in her arms while my body slowly came back to life. Once my body had enough of the warm lifesaving liquid to sustain me, I laid down in the recovery room for a few hours. While I was there, I had a visitor, she told me her name was Tia. She was a gorgeous black Lab. She said her dad, works at the clinic and was on vacation, so she was staying there until he gets back. She said she saw me when I first came in, said I did not look good and was in a lot of danger. She wanted to help me. Therefore, when she heard the staff talking about how I needed a blood transfusion, she barked continuously until she got their attention. That is when they called her dad and asked for permission. I thanked her for saving my life, she will always be my hero and I hope to one-day pay it forward. I was around 10 weeks old when I was rescued, I am now a happy go lucky 6 month old weighing 9 ½ pounds. Canines, felines, and humans of all ages you name it; I like them. I am all puppy and still in the learning stages; however, I am a fast learner and eager to please. I know how to use the doggie door and do my business outside. I like to cuddle and snuggle. I am looking for a lifelong partner, who is patient and committed to seeing me through all of life’s stages.
