Paisley's Story...
Hi, I'm Paisley! I came to DCACC when my owner could no longer take care of me and I am looking for a brand new furevr family that will love me for the rest of my life! Let me tell you a little about myself... First, I have a really excellent purr !nice and rumbly) which you will hear every time you hi that purrfect spot right behind my ears that I just love! Second, I'm pretty stinkin' cute (I mean just look at my little face!), I'm sure to make you go "aww' at least once a day! I do have a heart murmur, but let me tell you that it doesn't slow me down one bit! The family that I am looking for will have lots of time for snuggles and play time and will be ready for a life time friendship! No children under 10 please, I prefer a mature household! Think I might be the cat for you? Come by the shelter and meet me today! Please visit for more details or call 630-407-2800.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Wheaton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
