Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bo is a shy boy who will take some time to warm up and trust his people, but when he does, he will make some family very happy. Bo is doing great in his foster home, but out in public, he is still a bit shy. Bo is a sweet, loving boy who is great with other dogs and afraid of cats. He walks well on a leash and is housebroken. Bo very much deserves a wonderful family to call his own.
A poem from his foster mom:
If you knew him the way I do…
You’d see how happy he can be.
You’d see his joy when you get home.
You’d see that he loves to go for walks.
You’d see him play with toys and chew on his Kong.
You’d see how excited he is when it’s time to eat.
You’d see him run joyfully to his crate as part of his routine.
You’d see him playing with other dogs.
You’d see his goofy grin.
You’d see him with his head in your lap looking up at you with those big brown eyes.
You’d feel him licking away the tears streaming down your face.
You’d understand what it’s like to be so afraid that he can’t let you pet him until he knows you.
You’d see him wanting so hard to believe that people are good.
You’d see the potential for a loving, faithful friend.
You could know him the way I do with time, patience, understanding, and love.
