Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB June 4, 2015
We can't believe the amazing changes in Clementine! She was found as a stray in Toronto, and was called Scabz for a short while, due to the scabs on her body from outdoor injuries. She has changed before our eyes, both in physical healing, as well as in overcoming some shyness in the two months that we've fostered her!
She is a tiny cat who gets along so well with other cats that she seems to look to them for how to develop more trust in humans. Commonly called "Melontine" and "Valentine" by our children, Clementine doesn't mind kids, but is easily startled unless they are sitting quietly, giving her gentle rubs.
Clementine is skittish at first. She will continue to become more comfortable with people when they are patient and calm with her. The ideal home for her would be one that is quiet, yet engaging. Although she darts when one first comes in the room, once everything settles, she is affectionate and needy!
One of the best ways to show her love is through food! Clementine loves feeding time, and she enjoys being petted while she eats. She loves rubs, and she often rests her two little front paws on our leg as we pet her. We think in time and in the right home that she may even become a lap cat! She would do extremely well in a home with another cat, and is bonded with Marvin if you are looking to adopt a pair!
