Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Have you seen his picture before? Because it’s right there in the dictionary if you look up the word FUN. This guy is winning hearts over pretty quickly. He was also taken from another rescue where he was recovering from a leg amputation due to a car accident where he did not receive medical attention for a severe leg injury. We were sad to find that he also tested positive for heartworm. This handsome guy seemed lost in the vet kennel - he was having a hard time on the slippery floor and seemed scared and overwhelmed.
Fast forward a few days and our Ohio contact took him home to foster with her. What?! We saw a whole new dog! This guy just came to life outside the kennel. He is as playful as playful gets - the videos on our Facebook page are must-sees, he literally just flits about, picking up toys, tossing them, zipping around, even doing donuts on his three legs, all by himself. He is friendly and engaging with his foster dogbrothers and dogsisters and is super easygoing, clearly both naturally agreeable and well-socialized. He was given a new nylabone with Winnie managed to snag and he playfully barked at her, taking it all in stride.
Despite a pretty lousy start, at only 18 months being treated for heartworm and learning to get around on 3 legs, he thinks life is a peach and he is the happiest dog ever. Someone is going to luck out big time with this guy…many of our Facebook supporters are becoming addicted to watching his videos over and over - and I challenge you to watch them without cracking a smile!
