Misti's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Misti's Story...
Atop the Misti Mountains is where I lay my claim. To breathe the fair wind of times remembered and friendships gained. An unexpected journey into an unfamiliar land, with hopes of better days ahead. Note that I have many canine companions and we journey well, and cats and I get along just swell. With children of all ages my heart has a story to tell. I was trained by masters of the crate, and my housebreaking skills are first rate. Journey with me on this life’s escapade, and for no fiercer a friend could you ever trade. So join me atop my Misti Mountain throne, and into a glorious future our happy family will know. 4½ years old-82lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misti, a Portland Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Portland, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
