My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

'Bear' is a cute Pug mix, with possibly Chihuahua or a small terrier, around 2.5 years old. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed & is current on preventatives. Per Bear's foster mom, he has a good temperament but does need time to adjust to a new place & new people. We would ideally love a fenced in yard set up for him. He does like to be by his people once comfortable with them, & will snuggle by them, but is still unsure about being followed/moved toward to be picked up, so his new owner will need to be patient with him in this. He does seem to warm up quicker to doggy siblings in the home than people, so a home with another furry friend or two would be great for Bear! He has not been around many children, so a home with older kids would be best. He's been good about going outside to go potty, & hasn't had a ton of experience on a leash but is willing to learn. Bear would love a calm, loving home to call his own! (DOB: 8.22.14)
