"Hello! My name's RUTHIE, and I'm a lovely white and tan Boxer gal who's looking for a new home where I'll be treated with kindness. I'm still a youngster at just two years old, so I'll want to go on a daily walk with you. I've been quiet and well-mannered here at the shelter, and you'd probably consider me to be fairly mellow for a Boxer. My favorite activity is cuddling and giving smooches. I already know how to sit on command, and I'm excited about learning whatever else you'd like to teach me. I'm treat-motivated and smart, which is a good combination when it comes to training. I'd need to be the only dog in my new home, and I'd do best in either an adult home or in a family where the kids are older. I hope you'll head on over to the El Cajon Animal Shelter so we can get to know each other out in the nice play yard that they have here. I look a bit depressed in my kennel, but I'll perk up out in the yard. I promise! I'm ready to start my new life in a loving home right away, so please come see me. Love, Ruthie"
