Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Akela is a tiny little girl (34lbs), full of the energy of a husky twice her size as she can outlast 5 of her foster siblings at times! She is very smart and learns quickly - picked up how to use the doggy door and crate training very easily, though still working on her counter-surfing!
Akela would benefit from a doggy playmate but she can be very bossy and hasn't learned when to stop at times. Still working on some resource guarding. She is also extremely human-affectionate; she's never met a stranger. She loves to cuddle and get loving often times butting in on her foster siblings! She likes her kennel and will often go in mid-day to take a nap and chew on a bone in peace. She sleeps in it through the night. She is being fostered in SW Louisiana!!
