Maria's Story...
Hi! I’m Maria! I “sing” beautifully like my name sake from The Sound of Music … “How do you describe a feline like Maria.”
I’m super affectionate and love to cuddle. I assist the volunteers with cleaning out my room by snuggling with them so much they need to tag-team; one gets all of my love and attention while the other takes care of the cleaning.
Now that my babies are out and on their own, I’m looking forward to finally getting to be a kitten myself (I’m not even a year old yet). Like other kittens, I l-o-v-e to play!! I’m an expert stalker and pouncer and am looking for a family that will play with me and shower me love and cuddles.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maria, a Savannah Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
