My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little sweetheart is Toodles. An adorable Chihuahua around 10 years old. She came to the Animal Advocacy from a local shelter where she was having trouble adjusting to shelter life. Toodles was very insecure and had a very bad back leg.

Toodles is recovering from surgery that repaired her patella (back knee), she has recovered well and now looking for her new place to call home. She still needs a bit more rehab, more down time and not many stairs for a few more months. Toodles would prefer a home with out small children and a place with out a lot of activity going on.

She seems to be good with other dogs and okay with the cats. Toodles does seem to like one person and tolerant of the others. She has a quirky personality and makes her foster mom giggle all the time. Toodles is pretty much house trained to a potty pad, but will do fine outside once it warms up a bit. It seems just to cold for a Princess to be going outside at this time. She loves to talk to her foster mom and tell her stories about her day.

Toodles has been spayed, current on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm and also micro chipped. She also has had dental, blood work and her luxating patella repaired.
