Paxton's Story...
We want to introduce a very cool dog to you: Paxton.

This stunning lab mix can be adopted in Texas and New England. He is as gorgeous inside as he is outside!

Paxton an 18 month old Lab mix weighing 68 lbs.

The love Paxton has and happiness he brings to a home is immeasurable. Paxton likes to be close to his people always at your side.

He greets each person coming to visit like a long lost friend. He gets along very well with other dogs as well. He is very gentle.

If you were the lucky person to adopt Paxton you would wake up to happiness every morning, with loving hugs from a dog that clearly is thankful for each day.

Pictures are a challenge to get from him. As he knows you are giving attention and wants nothing more then to reciprocate. He walks and runs well on a leash. Paxton is ready for more training. He is house broken but needs to learn the basics, he'd thrive in a pup training class, or a good citizen program. He wants to aim to please.

Bring this sweet boy into your home, to your family and know the joy it is to have Paxton in your life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paxton, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
