Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stella is a very sweet female mixed breed. Her momma is a Jack Russell Terrier mixed breed and dad is a traveling pup roaming town to town avoiding getting caught by the man! Her momma came into the league pregnant, so Stella was born into a loving home from the beginning. She was adopted out and returned at a year old proving to be too much with very small children. So we are now working to train Stella that jumping up is not acceptable behavior, and she knows sit, down and is working on shake! She is very smart and learns quickly with some consistent training. Stella is house and crate trained and will crate herself just to hangout.
Stella is very affectionate and give sweet little kisses and is politely gentle when it comes to taking a treat. She is dog and kid social, and has been in a home with cats, but the cats were not fond of her as she was too interested in them, so we suggest no cats in her forever home.
Stella is microchipped and current on vaccines and monthly preventives .

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
