Please welcome Calypso, one of our new rescue arrivals! This handsome Labrador / Border Collie mix 1 yr. old is excited to start his search for his forever home in the Seattle area. One look at Calypso’s darling face and it is hard to believe that he was found abandoned in a parking lot in California! Despite the sad and lonely days he knew before our rescue, he still maintains a sunny disposition and can’t wait to start his new life with someone very special. Described by his former foster mama as “well-mannered, sweet and mellow”, this boy is a dream to walk on a leash and is super smart, too! Calypso would benefit greatly from training to challenge him mentally because he is so bright, and also to help build his confidence with new people and situations. Great with other dogs and filled to the brim with loyalty and love, Calypso would feel most comfortable in a home with people 8 years old and older. If you’re seeking a furry little friend to make sweet music with, Calypso may be your match!
