Midge's Story...
Midge is the sweetest dog you will ever meet! She is submissive, loves belly rubs and is the best snuggler! She is quiet, low energy and likes to just hang out. She enjoys squeaky toys and looking out the window at squirrels and neighbors. She is looking for a quiet adult-only home or one with older kids since really little ones scare her. She is good with cats and other dogs, but mainly wants human companionship. She can be skittish with loud noise and strange sights, so needs someone to understand her fears and keep her safe.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midge, a Allison Park Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound for sale in Allison Park, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Allison Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allison Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allison Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allison Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
