Due to my allergies, we do not accept mix breeds. However, we all know that there are ALWAYS exceptions to a rule! So I’d like to introduce “LEXI” AND “CHASE”!
You may have seen them on “Craig’s List” as their tearful mommy could no longer care for them. Picket Fence Poodle Rescue volunteers contacted the owner and had asked that she look at giving us the option of finding her beloved family a new home. Thank you, Wannie-Mae!
Lexi and Chase are a Poodle and Maltese cross (Maltipoo). As pictured, both are small, extremely cute and have been deeply loved all their life. They have been perfect in our home (house trained) and get along just fine with all of our Poodles.
We have been told that they are siblings, but NOT litter mates. They will need to be adopted together as they are a bonded pair.
They love to go for walks, enjoy being with people and want to be a part of a family.
“Lexi” with the pink collar, is spayed and was born 03/27/2012. She is 8 1/2 pounds, long in body but has more of the Poodle face and the fun loving Poodle disposition / personality!
She loves to play with toys, gets along with all the other Poodles and enjoys being with people. She is the dominate girl in this pair, but is NOT aggressive or assertive about her rank in a “pecking order”.
“Chase”, with the teal collar, is neutered and was born 02/28/2013. He is 7 lbs 4 ounces, long in body and has more of the Maltese face. He is also definitely more quiet and reserved than most Poodles. So is that the Maltese coming out in him?
But he is so very sweet, soft and gentle. He is just starved for love and attention, yet isn’t sure how to ask for it. He enjoys being held, loved and will follow Lexi around to try and do whatever she is doing
Their Vet appointment has been set for Thursday, March 9th. At that time, we will have their teeth cleaned, heartworm testing done, shots up to date, wormed, micro-chipped and registered.
These young, little and cute Maltipoos are also a rare find. PLEASE, no young children; they prefer young children to go away as these two want to be the children of a family. Also, NO large dogs; they are very afraid of big dogs!
Their $450.00 adoption fee will include the Minnesota state sales tax, all their past Vet records and recent Vet work. Also included are 2 bags of quality dog food, various treats, their kennel, leashes, collars, toys, beds, blankets, clothes along with lots of information to help start your adoption off on the right paw forward.
