My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mocha is a 2-year-old lab mix, about 55-60lbs. She craves treats as much as she craves belly scratches! She's an absolute love bug that gets along with any dog she meets (lots of trips to the dog park). She's great on a leash and would be an amazing running partner for an active person. She is fully potty and crate trained and great with little kids, but we are not sure about kitties.

Viva! NM Rural Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue. Therefore, we do not have a shelter facility. Meet and Greets can be arranged by appointment only or if the animal is at an adoption event. Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which you can fill out in person at an event or online here: Www.viva-nm.org/adopt.html . Once the application is submitted and approved, Viva conducts a meet and greet, and then a home visit. Once the application, meet and greet, and home visit are successfully completed we complete our adoptions with an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Each contract includes a 10 day trial adoption period. We do NOT do out of state adoptions.
