Lia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Lia's Story...
Lia is newly from Puerto Rico. She is fully vaccinated and spayed, is 2-3 yrs old and weighs approximately 20 pounds.

She would do well in most homes - though we are currently unsure of how she might be with a household with children. She will need moderate exercise. She has gone on a few hikes with her foster family and loved it.

After she has been around a few more weeks we can get a better understanding of her personality.

Lia is currently being fostered with another dog and is the type of dog that takes time when you first meet her. She is shy at first but warms up to her people. Please keep that in mind and give her a chance to bloom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lia, a San Francisco Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
