Hey there, my name is Franke and and I really long to be a part of it....a new family that is! I made my way to the Cocker Inn all the way from Central Texas where I discovered in a shelter. I'm only 2-3 years old and everyone just loves my long natural tail because it never stops wagging. I LOVE to run and play and am most happy with a squeaky toy in my mouth. When I first got here, I only weighed 20 lbs but they tell me I need to gain a few pounds. They also tell me that I'm a really good boy because I will sit when my having my leash put on, I love to ride in the car, I give LOTS of kisses and I LOVE being a lap dog. I've learned to use a doggy door and am mostly house trained too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franke, a Sugarland Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sugarland, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sugarland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugarland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugarland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugarland paves the way for another one to be saved.
