Nala's Story...
This gal arrived last week, and is beginning to adjust to being at the rescue. She is a beautiful girl and her name is Nala. Nala is 5 years old and appears to be part lab. Looking at her beautiful coat, I am thinking she may have some Corgi in her breeding. Nala is house trained and been spayed. We were told she loves to fetch, loves the water, but is frightened of fireworks and thunderstorms. She is a low key dog and enjoys both being inside and out. Just a great gal to hang out with or take for walks.
We are looking for a new family for Nala. She likes children, and gets along fine with other doggies. It was very hard on Nala to leave the family she loved, and we want a family that will give her the love and care she deserves forever. These photos were taken the day she arrived. If interested please call 402-846-5100

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Walthill Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Corgi for sale in Walthill, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog from a breeder in Walthill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walthill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walthill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walthill paves the way for another one to be saved.
