Lenny is an adorable and sweet little "puggle" who was found playing by himself in a park, and dropped off at the shelter when his owners could not be located. He was still wearing a collar, but he had no tag identifying his family, and after a full week no one came forward to claim him.
Lenny is smart, funny, and very cute! He was a little shy at first, but after 24 hours in his foster home he was running around with the other dogs, chasing them through the house and playing tug-of-war. Lenny adores squeaky toys and enjoys ripping them to shreds. He is also a cuddler, and when his foster family is relaxing he lays by their feet or on their laps. He loves belly rubs and getting his butt scratched. He gets along fine with dogs, cats and people of all sizes.
According to his shelter paperwork, Lenny is about three years old and 30 pounds, but still acts like a puppy (we actually think he is quite a bit younger than three) and can be a bit mouthy when playing, so we think he would do best in a home with kids over the age of 6 or so. Lenny is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on all his shots, and neutered. He misses having a family of his own and would love a new home with another fun-loving dog, but he would also be perfectly happy as the only pet.
