Darwin's Story...
**Darwin is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $275, which covers his flight to his new family, a travel kennel, and he is FIV/FeLV negative and vetted.**

Darwin was rescued from a feral colony but he is not feral. The wonderful people that feed this colony realized he belonged in a loving home so they scooped him up and contacted us. He is now in a foster home with two other kittens rescued from this colony. He is a sweet boy that loves other cats, loves to play and loves to snuggle!

Darwin is approximately 4 months old.

**Darwin is Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in his foster home. He is ready to find his family to complete his transformation. If our sweet boy sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. His adoption fee is $275 to help cover the cost of his airline flight and his travel crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darwin, a Bend Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bend, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bend.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bend already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bend breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bend paves the way for another one to be saved.
