Anatoly is a young, probably 2 years old, cream Maine coon mix. He is absolutely stunning with amazing golden eyes. The only thing that's better about him than his good looks is his fantastic personality. He purrs constantly. He never stop seeking you out for attention. He is a lap cat, he is a lover boy, and he is just in general an awesome cat. He does get along with other cats with proper integration, but would also be happy as an only cat. I really cannot understand why he is here as he is genuinely one of the coolest cats that we've got here at Merlin's hope right now
He is a playful boy who came from Kuwait and who is just looking for the perfect home for his happily ever after.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
