My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"ZOE" -- is a 16 mos. purebred, spayed female, UTD on all shots, heartworm neg., on prevent., and microchipped. Zoe was an impulse buy at a pet store by a family that was not able to provide the active lifestyle Border Collies need. Zoe loves people, and gets along with most dogs, and is fine with cats. She walks OK on a leash. Kids about 12 and up would be fine, she is too exuberant for younger kids . She loves to play ball, and catch Frisbees, and will need a job to be happy. She’s not the kind of dog that will do well just hanging out, being a pet. That doesn't mean you necessarily need sheep, but some sort of activity like agility, flyball, obedience, etc. that will keep her mind and body busy would be best. Zoe has had one obedience class, and a repeat of that for reinforcement is recommended. Zoe is being fostered in NH.

You MUST first fill out an adoption application AND have a home visit BEFORE being considered for any NEBCR dog. As this process can take time, we recommend that you complete these first 2 steps BEFORE inquiring about a specific dog.

For more information on Zoe, or other dogs we have available for adoption, please see our web site www.NEBCR.org.
