Remington's Story...
Meet Remington! Aka Remy.

This beautiful, 10 week old boy came to us all the way from Stockton just a couple weeks ago. A good samaritan found him & his sibling the side of the road. She scooped everyone up and took them over to her local shelter. Sadly, because of their age they we're not able to go into the shelter and rescue was needed.

Remy is a great puppy. Full of energy, personality and super smart. His exact mix is unknown but our guess is theres a bit of Chocolate lab in there and he should mature right around 50-55 pounds. Remy's ideal forever family will have previous experience with large breed, live an active lifestyle and have a yard for him to enjoy!

You can apply to adopt Remy by heading to our adopt tab and sending over the form to adopt. Once received a volunteer will reach out to chat further and schedule a time to meet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remington, a South San Francisco Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in South San Francisco, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in South San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
