JD is a friendly, laid back fellow, who's pretty undemanding and easy-to-please. He's a people-oriented cat, absolutely loving any form of attention he can get (especially if its a good brushing). While he enjoys play time, he really revs his purr motor when he gets people time. He's happy to share affection at any opportunity he’s given; he especially likes lap time and chin rubs.
Confident and happy-to-around, JD enjoys his own space too and will appreciate an area to call his own, like a window perch or tower. He loves to be near family members and watch the goings-on of the household.
As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats, a home visit will be required prior to adoption.
JD currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Resale Store/The Fur Factory. You can meet him Tuesday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.
All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $75.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
Completed adoption applications can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Resale Store (previously Gator’s Pet Supplies located at 293 W. Monroe St, Dundee, MI 48131). You can also return your completed applications to Monroe County Animal Control (next to the fairgrounds) during business hours.
