My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leo was turned into the rescue as his former owners were moving overseas, and decided that they did not want to bring their pets along. His cat friends were returned too, all of which were adopted into loving homes. Leo is hoping for his chance too.

Leo is estimated to be about seven years old. He is a large orange tabby (15 lbs. of fun), and is four paw declawed. Leo is a very clingy cat, the type that likes to be hugged and wants to sit in your lap all of the time. He especially loves women, he is definitely a ladies cat! Leo is very talkative to his caretakers, and loves to roll around on the floor with catnip toys. We feel he would do best as an only cat where he can soak up all of the attention for himself. He will expect to sleep on your bed at night, and will not take no for an answer. Leo would be best suited to live in a home with an older couple or a person without children who is/are looking for a furbaby to love.

As with a lot of male cats, Leo can get a buildup of crystals in his urine. He is required to eat a special diet of Science Diet C/D which eliminates the problem, and keeps him spry and active. His adopter must be prepared to continue him on this diet, or a similar type food recommended by their veterinarian. Truly, a small price to pay for the immeasurable amount of love you will get from this grateful kitty.

Leo is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He is declawed and has never been outdoors, and therefore, must be an indoor cat only. Please feel free to contact his foster Mom Andra directly at ashipley1@comcast.net if you have any further questions or would like more information about Leo.
