Kato's Story...
Meet Kato! Kato is another of our "FREEDOM FROM THE MILL" dogs. Kato is about 5 lbs and 2 years old and a gorgeous blue eyed Merle chihuahua! Kato loves other dogs and currently being fostered with two young pups both bigger than him that he loves!!! Kato is working on his house training and doing pretty good. Kato has been neutered (yup no more making money for the MILL man) vaccinated and chipped. Kato is heartworm negative and had a dental cleaning! This guy is super adorable and loving despite his rotten start to life. These dogs are so forgiving !! If you would like to make Kato part of your family please complete our adoption application on our website straynetwork.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kato, a Colmar Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
