My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Biscuit, and I am on a mission. I am a rescue doggie and I am looking for a forever home.
Things have been a bit ruff, but I am one lucky dog. You see, my previous owner was in a bad car accident and spent several months in the hospital. There was no one to take care of me, so a nice doggie rescuer came to my aid and is now helping me find a new permanent home. I do have some skills, but typing isn't one of them. I can, however, sit, stay, lay, give high fives and shake hands. I don't like to brag but I am also house, crate and doggie door trained. Okay, maybe I like to brag a little.
People repeatedly tell me I am handsome. They particularly like to do that when they look me in the face and scratch me behind my ears. That never gets old. I am also told I have a “diverse” family tree with some bull doggie and staffie mixed in. I am about four years old and am full-grown, so what you see is what you get. I am pretty slim and trim with a smaller body frame and weigh in at about 54 lbs. I keep myself in pretty good physical shape. I have recently seen my doggie doctor and have no medical issues. I have all my vaccinations, sparkly white teeth, a microchip and have been neutered. If I could I would adopt myself!
I love going for walks and car rides. I've learned to be a good listener and will sit immediately when told. Give me a chew bone and I'll keep myself entertained. Want to read a book or watch TV? Not a problem, I am happy to relax along with you. Scratch my back and I'll follow you anywhere. I've learned that if I put my front paws curled in towards my body when I lay down, I get human responses like “Isn't he cute?”, “Adorable!” and “Awww.” Gotta tell ya, that doesn't get old either. To be honest, I also have my playful side and like to get out and enjoy life a bit. Nothing like a good old tennis ball or the right toy to add to the perfect day!
Some short videos to watch me in action:

Now, if you'll visit me and we get along, and if you decide to adopt me I will do my doggie best:

• To be well-mannered and gentle
• To not bother the things you own
• To not chase bikes
• To be a good watch dog but not bark excessively
• To be a good friend when you are sick or down in the dumps
• To behave on a leash
• To cooperate at bath time
• To best the best buddy I can be
Now, I can't promise you I'll never get into mischief (after all, I am a dog) but you should know I don't drool, I am not a jumper, and I am good with kids of all sizes and shapes. Too good to be true? Thanks, I appreciate that, but doggone, I really want to find my forever home. And I prefer to have all the human attention to myself, so no other pets will be best.
I only ask that you love and take good care of me. I do like to play so a secure yard would be best. Sorry, an apartment wouldn't work. Oh, and I wouldn't turn my nose up at an occasional trip to the Golden Arches for a plain burger once in a while. Like I said, after all, I am a dog.
But wait. There's more! I come with a sack of premium dog food along with some yummy canned food, a new fluffy dog bed, a wire crate, a durable collar, leash, and detailed vet records. My adoption fee is just $125. What a bargain for a lovable, playful, smart and modest pup who will give you endless hours of entertainment and companionship. Could you be the right family for me? Please take a peek at my photos and my short videos and see my contact info. I would love to meet you! Thanks for reading, and don't forget about me!
