Zoey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Zoey's Story...
Zoey is a sweet calm 9 year old girl who has found herself looking for a place to call home. Her previous owners are in poor health and unable to keep her.

Zoey likes to be the center of attention and does not care for the company of other animals.

She loves walks, sunny spot in the yard, car rides and sleeping in bed with you. She is blind in one eye, so she gets scared by fast movements. She will not be placed in a home with children under 10.

If you think you can provide a spoiled life for this sweet girl go to www.forrescue.net and complete an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Knoxville Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
