My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jenny is a sweet, kind, gentle and loving Cocker Spaniel or Boykin mix. She is milk chocolate in color and had to be shaved due to her poor condition when her owners dumped her at animal control. They left her saying they no longer wanted her... That's all. It was obvious Jenny had had litters in the past, and perhaps was kept as a breeder dog in a small pen. She clearly was not kept in a home setting.

We have no idea what level of cruelty Jenny endured in her former home. It has taken weeks for her to stand tall on her legs and not creep around in a low crouch. She is beginning to develop the tiniest bit of confidence and interact with the other doggies in her foster home. Jennie is now mostly house broken and is learning to walk on leash.

Jenny needs a special owner who will love her and coax her back from the depths of her fear. Jenny has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
