Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe is a sweet 5 year old white female Great Dane with cropped ears who was given up for fighting with the other female Dane in her home. She might seem shy at first meeting you but as soon as you shake your hands she knows everything is OK and greets you with a wagging tail.
She can be a couch potato but loves going on her walks and walks well on a leash. She seems happier when she's outside by your side but she does not mind being left alone once settled in her home.

She is housebroken and trust worthy with no need for confinement in a crate. Phoebe is living with a foster sister who is a lab mix and they are very compatible. She is such an easy going girl and once you meet her you will fall in love with her. Phoebe came to MAGDRL in February 2017. "Please include your home area code and a phone number where a volunteer can reach you when contacting us about adoption."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Boonton Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Boonton, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Boonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
