Polly is a 2 year-old female brindle dachshund; she weighs about 20 pounds. Her energy level is calm for her breed; she knows no strangers. She is clean in her crate, preferring to do her business outside. Polly will need a secure fenced yard and would do best with another calm dog as a companion and playmate. She is spayed, microchipped, on heartworm prevention, and up-to-date on all vaccinations; she was treated for heartworm disease in early February 2017, shortly after her rescue.
