Rosie's Story...
From her foster parents: 'She is a sweetheart who deserves a loving forever home. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in CA. She loves everyone and every dog. House trained and crate trained. Loves the sprinkler and chewing on nyla bones or antlers. Loves her walks and is treat motivated. Super sweet and loving with the best wiggly butt. One of her favorite things is meeting people and kids. She could be a good therapy dog with the right training. We prefer a family with another dog, but a bigger dog, she is not a fan of small dogs or cats. Rosie likes the company of a dog friend. Located in Vancouver, WA. adoption fee $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Portland American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
