Mimi loves other cats. The most important thing for her in an adoptive home is a cat that will love her and be a true companion.
Mimi is a very special kitty who needs time to trust in order to let you in. She loves pets and is quite a sweetheart once after she is comfortable. She'll always be a bit jumpy, but motion with your finger and she'll come to you for a pet. She likes to drop to the ground as you give her a body massage and she rolls around letting you pet her tummy. Mimi came from a large group of cats so she doesn't trust just anyone right away. In fact it can take some time so a quiet home is best. She will need a patient home that lets her set the terms and pace in the beginning. An experienced adopter who can accept Mimi as is would be best. Lately she's been jumping on the couch with her foster mom for an afternoon nap or to quietly watch TV and will even get on her lap.
Mimi LOVES playing with other cats and cuddling with them as you can see in her photo and will be happiest and adjust more quickly with a friendly cat that wants to romp and cuddle with her.
Mimi cannot be a single cat.
Mimi can find any routine item fun to play with, including dragging shoes around by the shoestring. She loves to chase moving items so a wand toy is her favorite! Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a shy cat blossom and Mimi is an adorable cat with lots of love to give "her" new family.

The adoption fee for Mimi is our reduced fee of $75.00
Our adoption fee is $125 for a single cat, $200 for a pair, and $75 for a senior or special needs cat. The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV combo testing, microchipping, and spay/neuter, plus you will receive a certificate for a free wellness exam with a PBJ-collaborating veterinarian.
