Annie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Annie's Story...
Annie is very sweet, but she is a bit on the timid side. She loves her person, is definitely a cuddler, and lap dog, but she needs a home with a calm atmosphere. She can not go to a home with children or other active dogs. She is indifferent to quiet dogs or dogs that ignore her and she tends to just want to keep to herself. Unknown how she is with cats at this time but believed she will be ok. Annie is a 1-2 year old chihuahua mix. She received her first vaccinations, is heartworm negative, lymes negative (we removed a lot of ticks from her so we will be retesting in a few weeks), wormed, scheduled to be spayed, and will be microchipped upon adoption. If you are interested in fostering or adopting once Annie is ready, please contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Stahlstown Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Stahlstown, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Stahlstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stahlstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stahlstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stahlstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
