GIDGET's Story...
GIDGET is a 2-year-old terrier mix who is always about as happy as can be. She came to us after suffering a severe break to one of her rear legs. You'll have to take our word for it, though, because GIDGET now flies around the yard with her other dog friends with no issues whatsoever.

GIDGET is a love bug who will gladly accept your affection. She does wonderful in the house and would make for a wonderful addition to a family looking for another sweet little angel. GIDGET is currently at our training and rehab facility and is working daily on her basic manners and receives regular play time with many other dogs.

GIDGET is vaccinated and spayed. She is house and crate trained, micro-chipped and is heartworm negative. We require an application, home check and adoption fee. We do adopt out of state and can assist with transport arrangements. Our dogs are not allowed to fly cargo.

All our dogs are in foster care or reside at our rehab and training facility and have a safe place with us until they find their forever home. We are located near Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GIDGET, a Okatie Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Okatie, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Okatie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okatie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okatie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okatie paves the way for another one to be saved.
