Atlas's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Atlas came to us at 5 weeks old with his 3 brothers and his mom from Placer County Paws after being surrendered. We believe he is a Labrador/Rottweiler mix. His mom is 80 pounds and our guess is he will be around the same size. Atlas is black with some white at the tip of his tail. They love cuddling. Atlas will be neutered, microchipped, dewormed and has started his vaccines as well. They live with dogs, a cat, and children including a 2 year old. Atlas will be available for adoption around 2/25.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Atlas, a Sacramento Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
