Poncho's Story...
6 Years old, neutered, 2.5 lbs
House trained and crate trained

Poncho is a lover. He loves being held and does not mind getting a bath. Has never bitten anyone, and will play with you with a small stuffed toy. Loves being held and pet, and loves going places with you.
He can be a scared little thing, so if he hears a noise, he will bark. He gets along with other dogs, but will snip at them when he meets them just to let them know that he may be small, but he is not going to take a lot of crap.

He hasn't been around a lot of cats, but he is only 2.5 pounds so isn't too much of a threat to cats.

He likes kids, IF they move slow around them, but would probably be happiest in a home with adults only.

This is a cross-posting for Poncho's current owner. If you're interested in meeting him, please contact us and we will put you in touch with them!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poncho, a Greeley Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Greeley, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Greeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
