Nutty (Snickers)'s Story...
Snickers is a 9 month old Shepherd/Boxer mix, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Snickers got his name from his nutty fun loving personality and goofy smile. He is a smart boy but will need someone dedicated to consistent training on basic manners such as "no jump", he does know "SIT" but so far that is it. When Snickers gets too excited and jump all over you it is impossible to get mad at his big goofy grin and happy heart. If you are interested in adding Snickers to your family please call 205-640-4327 or email crossroadsanimalhospital@yahoo.com or just come on by Crossroads Animal Hospital for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nutty (Snickers), a Moody German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer for sale in Moody, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Moody.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Moody already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Moody breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Boxer breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Moody paves the way for another one to be saved.
