Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Sacramento- Rupert came to us, believe it or not, as an owned dog. The family had gotten him off of craigslist (at the time he had a rubber band around his teste to try to neuter him), and we would have hoped the second home would be full of love and care. Well, you can see by the condition we got him in (face completely matted), that was not the case. He has sired lots of mixed breed litters w hich have been sold, and all that with only one testicle. Well, his breeding days are over. He went to Animal Spay and Neuter - Sacramento where he was neutered, he had all but 1 tooth pulled (they were rotten) and his face was shaved. Sure he looks like a Chinese crested in the face now, but the hair will grow back. He is approximately 5 years old, is microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He has lived with dogs and children and is really sweet and easy going. We have him on canned food currently (after all that mouth surgery), and since he has one tooth perhaps that would be ideal going forward (although, we have had toothless dogs eating kibble before). This time, he deserves an amazing family. Who will give him the love, vet care and grooming he needs and deserves.
