Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roxy Girl spent a good part of her life chained up outside. Due to the level of neglect, Roxy was removed from the home. When we took Roxy into our program, we quickly realized she was pregnant. She gave birth to EIGHT babies right before Christmas and she was such a wonderful mother!! But now that her puppies are weaned, she can finally catch a break and enjoy life!! Roxy is only about 1.5 years old. She weighs around 45 pounds. This girl is SOOO sweet and affectionate... and she is good with other dogs her size or larger and loves to play! Roxy does fairly well on a leash, although she does tend to pull at times when she gets excited. She would love to go to an active family!
If you are interested in adding Roxy Girl to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. She is currently being fostered in west Tennessee. She will be transported once her adoption is finalized. Transport runs to the following cities: Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; Willington, CT.
